About Us
My name is Darrell Arsenault and I am the owner and manager of Sleeping Creations. Being the father of two wonderful children, I know that all parents want their children to be happy and that we will do most anything to achieve that goal.
When it came time to buy my two year old son a twin bed , I wanted to get him the safest( a bed with sides that can stop him from falling out), coolest, and most special bed possible. After searching the web for a couple of weeks I came to the conclusion that there was no such bed out there. The only way I could give my son a special bed like that would be to design and build one myself.
The first step was to go down to a graphic designer with photos of the thing my son loves the most, (his daddy’s 69 cutlass supreme). I knew he would love to sleep in his own version of his favourite car. I then got the photos enlarged, printed and laminated with high quality sign material and installed them on very durable melamine. Afterwards I assembled the bed and waited for a special day to give it to him. When that day finally arrived and he saw it for the first time, his eyes lit up just as if it was Christmas morning. He just couldn’t wait to jump on it and imagine himself at the wheel of his own muscle car.

Once our friends and neighbours came over to see it , they were amazed with the appearance and detail in the finish product. They believed that a product like this would make lots of children happy. After receiving positive feedback and plenty of encouragement , I decided to start building these beds for other kids.
Since that first day, we have gone over many different ideas and themes . We now have a great deal of different themes and more are coming in . We also welcome any ideas that YOU might have because we believe the best way to satisfy our clients is to give them what they want.
Some people told us they had just bought a new bed but they would love to have a theme bedroom. With that in mind we opened a line of custom headboards. Our clients can purchase one of our in stock headboards or they can send us the image they want and we can get it built especially for them, exactly the way they want.
